How much does it cost to use an agent?
Nothing. Insurance companies pay us a commission, and your premium is the same as if you enrolled on your own at HealthCare.gov.
Can I get help in Spanish?
Yes. The whole process can be in Spanish: the call, the messages, the explanation of your plan, and help at renewal. If someone in your family prefers English, that works too.
I'm self-employed and paid in cash or by 1099. Can I qualify?
Yes. What counts is your estimated net income for the year (after business expenses). Your agent helps you estimate it carefully so your tax credit is right and you don't owe money at tax time.
What changed for 2027?
The extra tax credits ended, the 400% income limit is back, and starting January 1, 2027, tax credits for lawfully present immigrants are limited to green card holders, certain Cuban and Haitian entrants, and COFA citizens. Read the full summary.
